Today, myself and a friend took a little photo adventure through Austin. We began at Graffiti Mountain and ended at a small park off Pleasant Valley Rd (one that I had driven past several times but had not yet had a chance to check out). I'm quite pleased with the photos, considering the spontaneous nature of the adventure; I had no idea what I was going to come away with.
Looking through the photos on my computer, I began to envision stories: a bright urban backdrop, a dark fairy tale, a nostalgic tale of a city long gone. They melded together, reminding me that Austin is truly a weird place, one in which so many vastly different stories can, and do, exist within each other, simultaneously.
